(HCMC) On 17 November 2007, at Sheraton Hotel, more than 30 overseas-study consulting companies attended “ACB- Meeting overseas-study consulting companies” workshop. This workshop aimed to introduce financial support to overseas study, changes in credit limit for overseas students, especially cooperation in consultancy and financial support.

The workshop met the increasing demands of many parents concerning about having their children study abroad. In this workshop, ACB introduced its facilities regarding overseas study to many companies, a package including financial consultancy, evaluating financial ability before the interview, loan for the entire studying expenses, transferring money abroad and issuing international credit card.

Concurrently, ACB strengthened relationship with consulting companies, discussed relating problems to offer better products and services to customers.

According to evaluation of Mr. Bui Tan Tai – Head of Individual Banking Division, loans for oversea-study could grow potentially, due to strong demands for overseas-study; thus making loans for overseas-study one of ACB’s strategic products regarding approach young consumers. Since year-start, ACB has issued credit limit of over VND 698 million to customers in need of sending their children for overseas-study. It is estimated that from now to year-end, potential customers who would use ACB’ loans for overseas- study would increase sharply.
