On the first day of the Lunar New Year 2008, Asia Commercial Bank was honored to have President Triet as the Bank’s First New Year Caller when the President paid a courtesy visit to the Bank’s Head Office and Main Branch in Ho Chi Minh City. ACB senior executives and staff gathered at the Head Office to welcome President Triet and to admit his good wishes for the Lunar New Year. On behalf of the Board and the staff, Mr. Ly Xuan Hai - ACB’s President and CEO, reported to President Triet about the Bank’s 2007 business performance and results.

President Triet praised ACB for its proactive approach in responding to the fast changing market environment and in meeting the financial demands for the country’s economic growth. He urged ACB and other commercial banks to continue fostering modernization of banking technology, enhancing human resources capacity, and boosting international cooperation in order to build comprehensive strength and to advance the growth.

President Triet shared his confidence that in the New Year 2008, ACB will keep up winning momentum to conquer over competitive challenges and achieve new heights of success.
