As of 31 March 2008, ACB's total assets attained VND 100,000 billion; total mobilized funds soared to VND 81,000 billion; outstanding loan was VND 40,000 billion; pre-tax profit mounted to VND 501 billion.

ACB's total assets almost doubled, total mobilized funds was 1.8 times larger, pre-tax profit was 1.2 times higher year on year. Such impressive business performance of the first 3 months fortifies ACB's belief in achieving its profit target of VND 2,500 billion in 2008-end.

In commemoration of the 15th birthday anniversary of ACB (4/6/1993 – 4/6/2008), ACB constantly launches new products and services such as "Borrow now for big prize" program, "Superflexible" program. ACB also cooperated with ACB Securities Company to launch "Investor's deposit account management" program, "Online appointment arrangement" service on ACB's website at www.acb.com.vn, "Big joy with ACB" program and so on. In the first quarter of 2008, ACB launched Saigon Gold Exchange in Hanoi, inaugurated 5 new branches and sub-branches and put into operation 2 newly built offices. ACB's current national network of branches and sub-branches is up to 117.

Also in Quarter I of 2008, two ACB's Vice Presidents, Mr. Do Minh Toan, Head of Commercial Banking Division, was awarded as the sole recipient of "The Promising Young Banker Award for Vietnam 2007"; and Mr. Bui Tan Tai, Head of Consumer Banking Division, the sole recipient of "One of 100 Most Promising Young Bankers in the Asia Pacific and Gulf region" by The Asian Banker.
